REAL WORLD USE OF DRONE CURRICULUM
OVERVIEW
The ASU vs TCU drone show was the direct evolution of the ASU vs USC show — larger in scale, broader in team, and more complex in production. At 850 drones, it was set to be 30% bigger than its predecessor, co-produced professionally alongside Sky Elements.
My role had fundamentally shifted. Rather than leading as a solo artist, I stepped into Project Manager and Coordinator — overseeing a team of 5–10 students who had come directly from DSC 598, the drone show design course I helped teach. This was the first real-world application of that curriculum, with students moving from classroom to professional production under my direction.
I also continued contributing as a 3D artist, creating assets for the show alongside my management responsibilities.
